Pubblic ice skating rink “Laciunz”

Come and skate on an 800 m² outdoor public ice skating rink, open to the public from December to March.
Designed to welcome everyone, the outdoor rink "Laciùnz" is the ideal place to socialise,
have fun and spend time moving in the open air.

Located at the outdoor area of CMFG ARENA, the facility offers a safe and welcoming environment
for those who want to try public ice skating or simply spend a few hours of leisure with friends and family.

The ice surface is suitable both for beginners and for those with experience
who want to skate in a pleasant environment surrounded by nature.

During the winter season, the outdoor ice rink at CMFG ARENA
represents an important reference point for public ice skating in Ticino, offering an opportunity for outdoor leisure for people of all ages.
Children, young people, adults and seniors can share moments of fun and physical activity
in a space designed to encourage meeting and socialisation.

Whether it is a family day out, an afternoon with friends or a simple break in the open air,
the rink represents an ideal opportunity to enjoy physical activity in a fun and healthy way.

Thanks to the size of the rink and the relaxed atmosphere that characterises it,

Open to all

LEVEL 1

A rink designed for meeting and having fun together, spending time in the open air and surrounded by nature. Also suitable for people with physical disabilities or limited motor skills.

Thanks to the Swiss Foundation for Children with Cerebral Palsy, people in wheelchairs can also access the CMFG ARENA ice rinks with the aid of a special skate — a sort of platform that rests on blades, which can be accessed with a wheelchair via a small attachable ramp: it is suitable for almost all standard wheelchairs.

Inclusion is one of the fundamental values of CMFG ARENA. For this reason, solutions are promoted that allow an ever greater number of people to experience the excitement of the ice safely and independently.

The goal is to make public ice skating a shared, accessible and engaging experience, contributing to creating a welcoming environment where every visitor feels part of the community.
